A fabulously tall and elegant table lamp, sourced in France and probably dating from the 1930s, which we have completely cleaned, and rewired. Made from metal painted in metallic blue with a gold star on its base and topped with a frosted sculpted globe in a very pale blue, we have added a new antiqued brass gallery, UK-made twisted fabric flex in dark brown and a 3-pin UK plug. We are PAT testing qualified. Measures approx 75cm high to the top of the shade, and the lamp base itself to the bottom of the gallery is approx 56cm. The base is approx 22cm diameter, the globe approx 17cm. The cable is approx 2m40 long. The bulholder is a B22 bayonet fitting. The gallery is 9cm wide with three screws, and the neck of the shade is 8cm edge to edge. The shade has some rust spots where a gallery has been fixed to it over the decades, and one or two dark marks on the glass (seen in picture), but otherwise has no defects.
