About Us

Department 4 is us, Jo and Simon, welcome to our online store.  With backgrounds in design and antique restoration, since 2003 we have been in awe with what the old French rural barns and brocantes deliver, and we visit France several times every year to find more.  Period lighting is a speciality, and we also love to buy antique glazed terracotta pottery, folk art, architectural antiques and all kinds of beautiful and quirky decorative items for the home.   We hope you enjoy looking round the shop, and welcome all contact with our customers: hello@department4.co.uk
